    Dear Sir/Madam
I am applying to your organization hoping that I would
get soon and positive response for my question. I
graduated in 2003 from the University of Asmara B.Sc.
in Clinical Laboratory Science. Since there is no any
Masters program in my country, Eritrea,
I have to go abroad to continue my further education.
However; to do that I must have enough money to afford
the required education fees. Though I got many chances
of scholarships in related my field, as I am from the
poor African country I could not afford my education
fees by myself. As a result I am continuously failing
to join in either of the universities. So here I am
applying to your organization, as I would obtain
sponsorship to continue my further education abroad.
Please do not hesitate to tell me if there is any
thing else you want to know.
I look forward to hearing from you.
    Yours, Goitom Tesfay

    Dear Sirs or Madam,

I got your name and address from http://www.google.com, a world wide university index, and since I am interested in carrying on my studies, I am writing to you now to ask you about opportunities to get considered for a graduate assistanship.

To introduce myself, I am a 24 year old Moroccan young guy. I got my BA from University Hassan II, Morocco, in 2002. I have worked for some time as a language instructor, and now I am working as an Arabic TA at Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho.

I shall be very thankful if you could send me with any information about my request. I would be pleased to provide any additional information if necessary. I am looking forwards to hearing from you.
