In response to a recent post on Wheelchairjunkie I’ve been doing some surfing looking for good MS info, which I haven’t done in quite a while. I’ve revisited some good websites and found some great new ones:
Multiple Sclerosis Sucks – very candid personal examination of many aspects of MS. The author warns that it’s strong stuff, but it doesn’t strike me as strong so much as true. The pages on alternative medicine and the semiotics of chronic illness are especially worth reading.
James S. Huggins’ Refrigerator Door MS pages – there’s a lot more than just MS, but the MS section is excellent.
All About Multiple Sclerosis – maybe not all, but certainly a bunch.
Sometimes I get to thinking that I’m just nuts; it’s good to get some confirmation that I’m not the only one out here.

You write “The author warns that it’s strong stuff, but it doesn’t strike me as strong so much as true.”
I am the author. Thanks for the kind words. Whether my website is perceived as strong or not depends on the readers’s perspective. When I wrote those words I was thinking of my innocent wet-behind-the-ears 21 year-old students who have never experienced anything bad in their lives – but think they have.
